At Bluest Blues Dance Club we are very aware of the importance of keeping your data safe.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has been put in place to make sure best practise is being used.

At any time, you can request to see what information we hold.

We collect your personal data via three methods.

1. We hold registers for classes and events with your name, so that we can collate numbers.

The names are collected onto a paper attendees list and then collected onto a spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet is held on a fully encrypted computer.

Once entered onto the spreadsheet the paper version is destroyed.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to have your name removed from the paper version or spreadsheet please let us know by email or facebook private message.

2. If you have subscribed to receive our newsletter.

These newsletters may be sent to inform you of any changes to the club and events that we are holding.

Once you subscribe your details will be shared with Mailchimp. We use Mailchimp to help us create and distribute the newsletters. This is the only third party that we share any of your details with. We do NOT share any of your details with any other third parties.

PLEASE NOTE: At anytime you can unsubscribe by clicking on the unsubscribe link on the email.

This will remove you all your personal details from Mailchimp. The paper record or email record will also be destroyed.

3. If you send us a message via our contact us page

The personal data that we collect on the website is your name and email address.

We may also have your phone number, if you have given it when you contacted us

If at anytime you wish to know what information we hold on you or have it removed from our systems then please contact us via any of our contact methods.
